Rohan Raman is a Hybrid Decarbonization Engineer at Carbon Direct. He supports due diligence, deep diligence, and project oversight of hybrid carbon management projects.
Rohan Raman is a chemical engineer by training. He is applying his expertise in process engineering and project design to help clients assess quality and delivery of carbon removal technologies and projects. Specifically, Rohan reviews hybrid carbon management projects at various stages within their project lifecycle to produce high-value assessments and actionable de-risking strategies for clients.
Prior to joining Carbon Direct, Rohan worked in the oil and gas and industry supporting downstream processing operations. He was the technical lead for multiple refining and chemical manufacturing units. Additionally, he supported deployment of various large scale capital projects, helping develop project design specifications and start-up procedures.
