Molly Tucker
Science Writer and Editor
Environmental Science & Policy
Molly Tucker uses her editorial experience in nature-based solutions and cultural research to communicate complex scientific concepts—such as carbon management, climate change, climate justice, renewable energy, and sustainability practices—and support digital marketing efforts at Carbon Direct.
Prior to joining Carbon Direct, Molly served as the Technical Editor at Eden: People+Planet. Her role included supervising the entire publication process from ideation to final approval, and developing editorial standards that enhanced the clarity and impact of Eden’s technical communications. Molly’s expertise extends beyond environmental science. At Global Cultural Asset Management, she played a pivotal role as a Research Specialist, conducting sophisticated research and contributing to major development studies for cultural institutions worldwide.
As a Science Writer and Editor, Molly ensures that all written materials by Carbon Direct’s Science and Policy teams—such as white papers, case studies, technical reports, and promotional collateral—uphold high editorial standards and effectively communicate key messages to target audiences. Additionally, she supports marketing and communications efforts by creating engaging content for digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, and newsletters. When she is not providing editorial support, Molly can be found nurturing her creative practice or exploring the geoheritage of New England.
