Charlotte Davis advises clients on high-quality carbon reduction and removal strategies, developing tailored solutions that maximize climate impact.

Charlotte Davis previously managed an Impact team at British International Investment, the UK government’s development finance institution, investing across Africa and South Asia. She focused on digital technology, telecommunications, and healthcare, working on a range of innovative financing structures, acting as the impact lead for over $500 million worth of investments, and developing new frameworks for assessing both climate and social impact in these sectors.

Charlotte has a strong interest in the blue economy and projects across the ocean ecosystem. She co-founded a start-up via a University of Cambridge accelerator, focused on machine learning and improving access to finance to help accelerate ocean-based climate solutions.

Previously Charlotte worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey across a wide range of sectors, and was selected for a secondment to the thinktank McKinsey Global Institute. She has had leadership roles in several start-ups and her professional career to date has spanned the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Colombia.
